½day out with mum: To the movies!

So yayyyy! Mum came back from indo on sat. And she'll be staying for quite a long while. I think until the end of june or something. I'm happy!

Okay so yesterday we all went to church in the morning, then had lunch at City Hall. Some jap restaurant but i don't recall the name. The food wasn't bad. I had some salmon sashimi bento. Mmm yum yum! I miss eating sushi.

& pops was laughing yesterday! :O Cos of his army movie (that he was watching the day before) joke thing. Inside jokeeeeeee. Hehhehe.

Anywayyyyy, we all spent time with mum. Its off to the movies! (cos she wanted to catch Knowing)

But pops didn't come along with us, he went home :(



First impression of this movie: I thought it'll have action in it or something. I think it wouldn't be that bad. So yah.

Disclaimer: I'm going to tell you what the movie is about. Roughly.

The starting of the movie was creepy. I had jes asking me whether it was a horror show. It did creep me out too. A little. Then the plot started developing and there were even more scary looking people in the movie, which seemed like stalkers.

And with Nic cage in the movie it'll mean some detective work, or some sort of discovering of secrets that no one would believe etc. You can say its kinda like the national treasure kind of thing going on i guess.

Then somewhere along the way he discovered the world's going to come to an end. With the sun's rays destroying our ozone layer and burning the whole earth. Then i thought, oh no... Another doomsday movie. Kinda sick of those movies y'knw! So many of them now these days.

Now the part whereby it started NOT making sense. Slowly the stalkers became some aliens or extra terrestial beings that came to actually save nic cage's boy and another girl, cos they were the chosen ones to be saved from the coming disaster and so they got on the spaceship thingy that descended from the sky.

The ending, you ask? The earth got burned down. And the spaceship landed on some land, with gold fields and then ultimately the camera pans and we see this big, big tree. Just one. And the only ones in that land? Were 2 of those kids i've mentioned earlier. The end.

If i haven't thought about some underlying message of the movie, i'd prolly thought i'd just wasted money and time, on a beautiful sunday. But hmm, the big tree, and two people, one female and male. Sounds like Genesis to me.

You'll know what i'm talking about if you think very very carefully.

After i thought about that, and made tons of connections and links, then the movie made sense (esp with the 2 metres tall alien people) Because it was a metaphor for something. Something which is the end time, the second coming. So afterall, its not so bad :)

But then..... In the middle of the movie. Someone farted. Goodness man! Maybe he/she farted cos he/she was toooo spooked out HAHHAHHAH. And it wasn't at a good time. It was some exciting part, and you're trying to get excited about it and then... You take a breath, and it was foul smelling. What a spoiler! D:

After the whole thing, i was soooo tempted to just ask loudly, who farted just now? SMELLY MAN!

And during the creepy parts, jes and irene were both holding on to my hands and squeezing them. Not that i didn't get creeped, i did, but i just laughed it out. Hah.

Gosh its 12. Gotta get ready for school, gotta reach by 1, ciao!

Uncomfortably hot!

Went to school today for some ambassador cca thing with ernest. Was actually supposed to try out for badminton with glennice but i got up late. And i feel really really bad about it.

On the way to school, saw rq and hayaya at the mrt! HAHHAHA. Seeing rq makes me miss pj. And the mornings where we all meet in the canteen before school.

GRRRR.. Can't really type much now.... Stomach's getting reaaally reaaally hungry! Cos we're gonna have crabs tonight, yum yum! Anddd the smell of them getting cooked is good. I think i'm going to go for three servings of rice tonight! (As usual, when there are crabs)

Thank goodness i won't grow fat :P HAHHHAHHAHA three servings of rice at one dinner can be fattening. So much carbs!!

I've to do a 2 and a half minutes sales pitch by next thursday. Gotta think of something you wished existed and try selling it. And me, i'm thinking of something that gotta do with food. (I'm really hungry now, remember?) And i don't want to do something rational/realistic. It wouldn't be fun anymore if its like that.

The weather's being crankyyy!! For two days i've been buying ice-cream from the mart downstairs. But no b&j's yet!! :((((((

Feeline&jes isn't back home from sf yet. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

I just texted them. "Where you", i said. HAHHAHHA sounds so rude like that. But since i'm hungry, anything will do.

But seriously, i kinda dislike it when people text me like that. Sounds kinda like demanding...

At least put a smiley or something! "Where are you? :D" seems more friendlier doesn't it?

I don't know why i'm talking about this but ya... Its just irritating. And i'm doing it to feeline. HAHHAHAHAHA.

First week over and done with

Okay. Now that the first week passed by literally in a blink, let's see what the next one's going to be like. I'm now kinda used to school already. Used to the waking up early in the morning.

But now, i'm like reaaally sleepy D:

I shall go nap before i go out tonight for CG.

OH! Did i tell you, today classes ended early. Like, 3 hours earlier. When the teacher told us we were dismissed alrdy, we were all like, woah?!? I thought we're supposed to end at like 3. Its a good thing.

After that i ended up having a group meeting. For my ad campaign thingy. Things went pretty smoothly. Which is good too. I still remember the very first pw meeting i had in jc.... Scary! Lets just hope it stays like this for the next 16/17 weeks to come. *fingers crossed*

Hmmmmm.. During class today. Had some grammar pre-test, in 4 components. All MCQs, but a whole lot of questions. I dare say its at least a hundred! So anyway the questions were like whats the verbs/nouns/pronouns etc. (you get the gist) and i'm like. Oh whatttt?!?!? I don't know! I'm sticking with intuition.

And intuition got me a 40% for my first component.
(Thank God the marks aren't going to be counted in)

The rest were okay.

The weather's cranky again. Suuuuper hot! & i'm craving for b&js. But i can't have b&js because i promised someone i'll go eat it with him. Rahrahrahrah! D:

Maybe a nice choc blended cream from starbucks might just do the trick! Problem is, i don't know where's the nearest one from my house. And it seems really stupid to just go out somewhere far for starbucks. But then again, i really feel like having it. How? :/

Oh. I know. I'll just hope there's one at clementi so i can go have it on the way to CG.

Okay, like i said, i'm feeling really really sleepy.

School's getting much more interesting today.

Had this presentation skills module. Wah, y'knw at first i thought its going to be a killer man! I thought like that, cos in jc, i remembered sitting through project work lectures and literally dying of boredom.

And the lessons today were like what, 4 hours?!???!

Gosh. It'd better be good.

Hmmm, it turned out to be good. The teacher was really nice. Very very engaging, interesting! She made us do some silly activities. But with everyone doing it altogether it became fun.

And its so so so so much different from jc can?!?!??

Today school was at 1, so awesome can! I get to sleep in late.

I hope tomorrow'll be a fun day too! Cos that would conclude my first week at school. My first nice, enjoyable week.

And by next week, i should be able to get used to the whole routine. I'm still struggling with it. In terms of feeling weird. Sometimes missing my friends in jc too. I wonder how they are all doing. I really miss being able to just disturb everyone. And being nonsense nat with hann darl! D:

Okay, i'm already feeling tired. Eyelids are trying to shut themselves. I should be getting to bed. Soon.

Just another day

Another day spent at school today... Wasn't that bad i guess. But a few of us were like saying we're pretty tired, cos apparently we weren't used to waking up early in the morning.

And the same goes for me.

Still sleeping past 11, and waking up at 6 plus. Hmmm.. That amounts to about 7 hours of sleep compared to like my 9-10 hours in my holidays. 2 hours makes a big big big difference!!!

Oh well, y'knwww... We've started on projects already. For my advertising module. So yeah, we were split into our individual groups too.

Its an ad campaign we've gotta do. Very very interesting! I think its gonna be a whole lot fun :)

Today there was some skit thingy too. Very very on the spot kind of thing. Mann, if this is going to happen often i've really gotta get used to it.

I mean, its a really different environment from JC. Its like at the extremes. Here, everyone's open, not scared to speak out.

So yeah, gotta adjust to that!

And with meeting new teachers, we have to introduce ourselves a whole lot. Starting to get pretty sick of it haaa. And sometimes i don't know what to say!

First day @ school.

First day of school today.

Last night i had a major panic!

'Cause yesterday, my friend texted me. He said school's at 8. But my timetable said 1. So with that difference, i was like super super confused.

Then i texted Joni. Hers was at 8 too (She's in the other class, by the way)

So i was like.... ?!??!??!?! HOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! Go to school at 8?!??!!? :((((((

But it turned out that it was an IS module. Don't know what that stood for but yeah. It was supposed to be a class with people from different courses so yeah.

And nobody from my class was in the same class with me this morning. How sad!

Had to make new friends all over again. And yeah, it got easier.

Now i'm thinking of what cca to join.

Considering frisbee... 'Cause a whole lot of my friends are in, cca can get boring without familiar faces soo..... I'll think about it. Gonna visit the cca fiesta again tomorrow, and walk around.

I start school at 9 tomorrow. And i end at 4. Longgggg dayy! D:

Crazy day!

Just came back from a bbq @ east coast.

FMS Induction day

Finally back after spending half a day at school!

Well well, to sum it all up, i think its pretty good.

My cough's greatly reduced. And no flu! Hooooray!

For the first time (in a very long time) i'm actually starting to look forward to go to school. I wonder if thats a good thing, and how long its going to last. Hahhahaha.

Hmm, i'm happy with the class i was put into.

Now, let me rewind and start from the very beginning today.

I arrived at school pretty early. Like err 8.30? Was supposed to go with a friend, but he has got something on, so i'm alone.... Not until my grandma told me she has to go to SIM.

And you must be wondering what my grandma has to do with SIM.

Well, she had to attend a graduation ceremony of her sister's son. In short, i think its my second cousin, if i ain't wrong. It doesn't matter. Hah.

Since SIM is one stop away from NP i decided to go earlier to accompany her there in case she gets lost. So i ended up getting to school earlier.

Arrived at school, was one of the earliest there. Duh. So i was all alone.... *plays some sorrowful sounding violin music* Then soon, people started arriving in groups.

(Looking at them, i was like: Darnnnnnnnn!!!! Should've went for orientation!!!! Someone talk to me please....... I'm all alone... I want to see someone familiarrrr puh-leaseeee.)

Then they started putting up class lists. I went to look for my name. Took note of the class and started chanting it out inside my head, just in case i forget. Wouldn't want to go back and take another look.

Soon, we all went in and sat according to classes. Oh thank god!

Not long after we all started making friends. Yayy i was sooo happy can! Like finallyyyyy! And thenn! I saw a familiar face! ZOMGGGG. Familiar indeed. HAHHA He was also from pj, and an ex pri schoolmate. And guess what! Turn's out, he's in my class too! WOWWWW. Talk about having my prayers answered in an instant.

And so the whole thing started. Some introduction. Ya-dah ya dahhh lunch then we broke up into our individual classes.

Here comes the climax. Or anti-climax. Whatever's more appropriate.

I have this friend. Joni. One of the first i made friends with. And then y'knw what?! Some girl came in saying she had some lost sheep. And it turned out that she and two other girls was in the wrong class. WHAT A BUMMERRRRRR! So sadddd! :(

But nevermind that. We'll still get to see each other in school. And yes! Have lunch together too!

And there you have it. My induction day experience.

On the road to recovery!

HAHHAHH.

Well anyway, i come with awesome news.

I'm getting well already. Not entirely well, but well enough for me to step outta the house. Haven't been coughing THAT much and i have been using less tissues (yay i helped with saving mother earth!)

Speaking of mothers, mum went to Jakarta again yesterday. She'll be back in 10 days. I'll miss her. Hahaha she always makes me laugh with the funny things she does/say (without her even knowing it)

With me feeling much much better, i'm happier now. HAHAHHHAA

At least i can go to school tomorrow in peace without having much cough interrupt my flow of speech. I gotta make new friends tomorrow! It'll be such a bummer having no one to talk to during the whole thing tomorrow.

Oh anyway, tomorrow i'm having some induction day at school. And YAYYYY! I've got a friend to accompany me to school in the early morning tomorrow. It starts at 9, and it means i gotta get up by 7 plus and leave the house by 8 plus. But here's the thing: I keep on waking up late! Like today, at 9.45am on the dot! Its like that everyday, waking up at 9 plus 10.

And its a big big deal because waking up late = having no breakfast = skipping one round of medication ('cause you gotta fill your stomach with food first, duh)

But hmm.. Don't think i will oversleep. I've never overslept when it comes to school for a simple reason. I've a maid. And she always comes into the room and irritates me till i'm awake. Hahhahhah. And its a big help especially when you're a huge fan of the "let-me-sleep-for-5-more-minutes-no-make-that-10" Hah, so thats why i'll always get up on time (unless she oversleeps too) Then oh, lucky dayyyy!

Staying at home the whole day, i've been on fb. Playing the word challenge thing. Hahahah really fun! I like!
